Over the 24 hours or so every post has been hit with the same spam ad, and now I’m getting trackbacks with the same thing. Ugg go spam a blog where it will actually be seen

People see your site man
Spammers don’t care if it’s seen either way, as long as googlebot “sees” it. This spam thing is getting way out of control. It’s not necessarily the spam or trackbacks that are annoying me (wordpress is pretty good about stopping it), it’s the referrer spam. I can’t stand it. I had over 30 websites yesterday hit my pages with that crap. If I ever saw a spammer in real life, I would wrestle them down to the ground, kneel on their shoulders and smack them senseless for as much time as I’ve spent wasting away on deleting spam. Did you hear about the nofollow thing Fitz?

yeah I heard bout that..hopefully spammers will pay attention and stop spamming sites that use it

I feel your pain. I get about 80 visitors a day and about 60 of them are spambots.
